What am I up to these days?

enigma machineI’ve been pretty quiet about what I am doing these days. I’ve dropped hints here and there. It’s an awesome new twist to my tale. It’s great experience and great fun. Im now working at Virosity Read the rest of this entry »

I hate to love Jason Fried

I went to see Jason Fried from 37Signals talk at Bravo Brasserie in Providence. A few of us went down from Boston. Me, Mark Doerschlag, Andrew Mitchell and Todd Galloway. I hate to love Jason Fried. His and 37Signals philosophies align with mine. Use beautiful tools to create beautiful, simple things. Get rid of all the bullshit and focus on what’s really important to you and your customers. Don’t forget the elifelist bike trip across the country

Lee and BrentI mentioned a few days ago that my friend Lee and his business partner Brent are biking across the country. Well, they’re underway! They’re on their fifth day of about 40. Definitely check out the elifelist bike trip blog and show Lee and Brent your support.

They’re trying to raise money for the Lance Armstrong foundation. They need your moral and fiscal support! (You could also digg their site to get them publicity!)

Will Virgin America revolutionize the quality of air travel in the United States?

I hope so! Since I moved to Houston, I’ve been using Continental Airlines primarily. As a carrier they service a lot of cities, offer competetive fares, have good customer service and don’t do a lot of the crap other airlines do. Now Virgin America has approval to launch and will be flying San Fran to New York first. Boston is a city they are considering too. Please pick us!

Open Coffee Club London is worth a visit!

I attended the Open Coffee Club meeting in London today and met some very interesting and inspiring people. If you’re thinking about starting up a business and you’re in the London area, it’s well worth a trip. I wish I could go next week, but I’ll be back in Boston. Expect to see me at the meet in Boston!
