That isn’t Zuckerberg in the picture… yet. Facebook continues to establish itself and gain a foothold in the online identity aggregation market. By that, I mean facebook is the most comprehensive place I can learn about my friends. As facebookers get superpoked, nerds with lofty ideals are trying to unseat Zuckerberg and Facebook. My friend Pach is in a band, “of the i“. They are getting some traction in the London music scene. They just had a music video done which has some very cool animation.
Going has a facebook application called Naughty Gifts. At first they were unsure if they wanted to associate their brand with the application. Now they’ve gone full out! It’s naughty gifts in real life. They’re hosting the naughty party in Boston on the day before halloween - the 30th October at 10pm. If you’ve got a flithy mind and like to party, this will be a killer event. Make sure to RSVP! Im going to be there. My interest is purely in how virtual communities can translate in to real communities and events

One of the biggest problems with the iPhone is how it handles email (especially if you use gmail). If I read something on my iPhone, it was still unread in my gmail, and my inbox.
Basically, the way it should work is: if I read it on my phone, my laptop, my desktop or the web, it should be marked as read everywhere. You couldn’t do this out of the box. Read the rest of this entry »

At a secret part of the website, only found by searching for “esavers greyhound” on google, you can find cheap fares for greyhound to NYC.
Unfortunately, I can’t afford to fly like those damn consultants I hung out with the other night. Nor can I justify the price for the luxury bus from boston to new york. I also value my life, so I wont take Fung Wah. I’ll take Greyhound!
So, you’ve hacked your iPhone, but how do you get the most out of it on T-mobile? T-mobile has an under publicized plan called “T-mobile total internet add-on”. For $19.99 a month extra (you need a voice plan first), you get unlimited data on your iPhone in addition to included hotspot access at Starbucks.
T-mobile also sells hotspot access for $19.99 a month, but you’d have to be stupid to pay for that. I switched from my blackberry data plan (also $19.99) to t-mobile Total internet with no hassles, and no problems. When you call up, t-mobile can tell you’re using an iPhone and generally the staff there is pretty interested in helping you get the most out of your iPhone on t-mobile.
